Inquiry-Based Learning in the Second Grade

This video shows a second grade classroom at Stocker Elementary School which used inquiry-based learning to teach students about their local communities, the economy, and the basics of creating presentations on laptops and iPads. By centering inquiry, this lesson encouraged collaboration and began students on the path of developing crucial research skills. This video is an excellent demonstration of how inquiry-based learning truly is an approach accessible to students of all ages.
