The Personal Project Skills Survey is designed to help students reflect on and articulate the work habits, 21st-century skills (like creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration), and academic content knowledge they use while working on a project, as well as to explain their process and motivation. This template promotes student self-awareness and metacognition, supports project-based learning, and provides insight into a broad range of skills beyond academics, such as self-management and communication. By analyzing students’ responses, teachers can better understand individual strengths and areas for growth, inform differentiated instruction, and facilitate meaningful conversations about learning strategies, ultimately supporting holistic student development and a growth mindset.
